Food Processing
The generation of foam is a common occurrence in the processing of vegetables, potatoes, pickles, fruit juices and other food items where proteins and starches are present. Foam is also present in cleaning applications such as egg-washing.
Siovation manufacturers a line of silicone-based foam control products ranging in concentration from 5 to 100% active. These products are manufactured in compliance with United States FDA regulations as cited in 21 CFR 173.340 and are certified Kosher and Pareve. Passover certification is available on a case-by-case basis.
