Siovation Launches New, Environmentally Sustainable Silicone Emulsion Product Line

Lawrenceville, GA—July 13, 2009

Siovation is pleased to announce the availability of a new, environmentally sustainable silicone emulsion product line.  Products within this series have been designed to provide the performance-enhancing benefits of silicones without the negative environmental side effects of some emulsifiers and functional additives.  In particular, products within this series are:

• Free of alkylphenols (AP’s) and alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE’s)
• Formulated with surfactants that are compliant with European Detergent Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004
• Solvent-free

These products are industrial-grade emulsions of polydimethylsiloxane and are suitable for use in many applications including industrial mold release, hard surface polish formulations, fiber lubricants, automotive appearance chemicals and rubber lubricants. Our state-of-the-art production process ensures small, reproducible particle size and excellent stability. Representative products include:
