Bernie Cobb
President
Bernie joined Taylor Chemical (now Siovation) as vice president of sales and marketing in January 1992 and has been an integral part of the dramatic changes in Siovation's strategic direction and exceptional capabilities. Promoted to president in May 2000, Bernie has recruited a talented management team with significant management or silicone industry experience.
Before joining Taylor Chemical, Bernie spent eight years as product manager at Goldschmidt Chemical (now Evonik Industries). He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a B. S. in Chemistry and has pursued graduate studies through the University of Richmond.
Grant Morehead
Chief Financial Officer
Grant manages and oversees all finance, human resource and information technology functions for Siovation. Before joining Taylor Chemical (now Siovation), Grant spent almost 7 years in public accounting with Gunn & Company in Jacksonville, FL. While at Gunn, Grant became audit manager dealing with a variety of clients in manufacturing, distribution and construction.
Grant has over 15 years of experience in various finance functions and received his B. S. in Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 1993. Post graduate studies have been completed at the University of Florida and the University of North Florida.
Burt Wrolson, P.E.
Vice President, Technology
Burt joined Taylor Chemical (now Siovation) in September of 2001. His silicone background was developed at Dow Corning Corporation, where he held various process engineering, product development and technology leadership positions from 1989 to 2001. Over that time, he contributed to Dow Corning's knowledge base and product lines in the areas of silicone polymer production, organomodified silicones and emulsion-based materials. As a result of exposure to a wide variety of applications, practical experiences and technical focus, he has developed an expertise in industrial colloid science and technology. Burt holds 7 U.S. patents.
Burt received his B. S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University in 1989, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Michigan. His three daughters keep him and his wife perpetually busy, and when not engaged in their activities, he enjoys fishing, tennis, traveling and music.
Gary Keegan, MBA
Vice President, Operations
Gary joined Taylor Chemical (now Siovation) in November of 2003. His operational experience was developed in industries as varied as silicone rubber, oleochemicals and institutional cleaners. The combination of Fortune 500 and small business experience brings a unique perspective to the operations function at Siovation.
Gary received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Connecticut and an MBA from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is married and has 2 children.
Jonathan Selby, MBA
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
In 2002, Jon joined Taylor Chemical (now Siovation) after a successful career with Goldschmidt Chemical Company (now Evonik Industries) where he served as business manager, global project leader-agricultural products and regional director of North and South America industrial (silicone) specialties. He also held technical sales positions at Albright & Wilson for five years and Porelon (Johnson Wax) for two years.
Jon earned his B. S. in Chemistry from Dickinson College and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has a teenage daughter and son and enjoys fishing, hunting and soccer.
